BDK is a general-purpose free radical photoinitiator based on 2,2-dimethoxy-2-phenylacetophenone. It offers excellent thermal stability, high initiating activity and good solubility, with absorption at 250 nm and 340 nm. It is well suited for UV-curing systems that must withstand elevated temperatures, such as vacuum electroplating base coatings, at a recommended dosage of 3-5%.
